Yelp is a quickly growing website with reviews of restaurants, clubs, bars, stores, etc… with all reviews being user-submitted. Self-described as “the fun and easy way to find, review and talk about what’s great - and not so great - in year area,” Yelp is reaching the critical mass of users needed to be a truly phenomenal website.
The site is especially great for people living in a larger city, but it is also rapidly expanding to include more and more places in smaller towns across the country. Additionally, the website is largely driven by a younger user base making it especially applicable.
I would recommend giving this website a shot next time you’re trying to find a good restaurant to go to in your area. Even looking up stores/shops for an area you’ve lived in for years can turn up some new and tantalizing finds.
