Getting lots of advertisers calling you? Make sure your cell phone is signed up on the National Do Not Call Registry. Thanks to a law passed in February, names added will now no longer expire.

For GW Students Only:
Over the past couple of days, everyone’s been getting emails to let them know how to switch over to the new email system. In case you hadn’t previously heard, for students only (ironically staff/professors are on the old system) the university is switching over to a google-hosted email system that looks just like gmail!
Basic Facts:
-You have 6 months from activating your new email account (do so at https://amc.gwu.edu/) to access your old email and contacts and forward them on or save a backup. After 6 months you will no longer be able to access them.
-Until you graduate, all mail sent to your old @gwu.edu address will be automatically forwarded to your new @gwmail.gwu.edu address.
-Don’t forget to update your email address on websites such as Facebook.
-Your storage space will multiply over 300 times to a total capacity of 3.5GBs.
-Alumni are eligible (and should) switch to the new email system as well.
The university email does a great job explaining how to activate the new account, and has the answers to a bunch of basic questions. However, I found it lacking in its explanation on how to switch over if you already have another Google Account/Gmail Address like I do.

Over the past year or two, there’s been a shift in how people find TV Shows and Movies to watch on their computer. Typically, downloading through torrents or file sharing programs was the preferred option. However, besides the legal risks, this was also a pretty slow process.
Recently however, the shift has been to watching such movies via websites that stream the content. With this method, you don’t need to download anything and you can start watching your content immediately.
